This page contains the best available references for individual and household assistance after a disaster. If you find an error in these, or have something to add or replace one of these, please send it in!
At this point, it is too late to register with FEMA for disaster assistance. However, if you need assistance in general, call 2-1-1, and if you need assistance for anything related to Irene, call 2-1-1 or contact the Long Term Recovery Committee (LTRC).
Recommended reference: the state recovery office has posted a great list of organizations, what they do, and contact information on their Vermont Strong website.
